When someone praises you for a work achievement, is your first thought “I just got lucky” or “they’re exaggerating”?
I can comfortably accept compliments because I know I genuinely earned the result through my own effort and ability.
Sometimes I think luck helped a little, but I still believe I deserved the achievement.
